Accederemos a la ruta de la Cuta desde la misma localidad de Villalonga. Tomamos dirección a la localidad de Ador. A la entrada de la localidad de Villalonga nos encontramos con una rotonda. En la rotonda buscamos dirección a la Reprimala, por el camino del cementerio. Una vez llegados al cementerio nos encontramos a nuestra derecha un desvío que nos llevará hasta el río Serpis. Cruzaremos el río Serpis y tomando el camino de la izquierda, el camino de Tarrassó, caminaremos paralelamente al río. Aunque veamos que el camino asfaltado se divide en algún ramal a la izquierda no haremos caso alguno. Seguiremos por el camino de asfalto hasta que veamos que no tiene salida y que nos coincide con una pista forestal. Tomaremos esa pista forestal que nos queda a la derecha. Tomaremos dirección hacia el “Tossal de Bertomeu”. Una vez allí y justo detrás de una antigua construcción de ladrillo en ruinas, se inicia una senda a nuestra derecha: la senda del “Assagador dela Cuta”. Se trata del camino denominado «Assagador de la Cuta» con una extensión aproximada de 1,5 Km. Es un camino que antiguamente era transitado por pastores y cazadores, muy pedregoso e irregular pero con un perfil suave.
Ascenderemos suavemente por una senda muy clara y definida desde la cual, en algunos puntos, podemos divisar unas maravillosa y espectaculares vistas sobre el Circo de La Safor. Pasaremos por el Corral de Guillem hasta llegar, en unos 20 minutos, al Corral del Tío Catxou, situado a 420m de altitud.
Una vez llegarnos al Corral del Tio Catxou la senda se transforma en la pista forestal de la Cuta, que forma parte de la red de pistas forestales entre Llocnou y Terrateig. Unos 10 minutos de travesía más tarde pasaremos por el Corral de Ros y la Casa de la Cuta o Corral de Domngo, del cual parte una nueva senda que olvidaremos pues es la que nos llevaría en descenso hasta Castellonet. El itinerario está plagado de especies autóctonas de la sierra Seguiremos por la pista forestal que rodea a la cima y buscaremos el mejor punto para practicar el ascenso, campo a través.
Una vez en la cima de la Cuta, “Pic de la Cuta”, que delimita las poblaciones de Ador, Llocnou y Villalonga, y desde su punto más elevado, buscaremos la senda que sigue la cresta de la cima, en dirección oeste y caminando hacia la explanada que divisaremos. A nuestra izquierda nos encontramos con el barranco de la Enxina que desemboca al río Serpis junto a la Fábrica de l’Infern, bien visible desde esta altura.
La sierra de la Cuta es rica en fuentes y pinares de pino blanco (Pinus halepensis), hace de frontera natural entre las tierras de Vilallonga y la Vall de Vernissa, y se alza como un muro entre los dos ríos principales de la Safor, el Vernissa y el Serpis, antes de su unión en la llanura litoral, cerca del Real de Gandía. Esta sierra, áspera en sus solanas, es agradable y acogedora en sus umbrías y barramos, como el del Frare, en Llocnou de Sant Jeroni.
Hasta el »Pic de la Cuta» habremos recorrido una distancia de unos 7,5 Km .El camino de regreso lo haremos por la misma ruta.
